The Primary Market Advisory Committee of the Securities and Exchange Board of India has released a new set of initial public offering (IPO) framework proposals for public comment and comment. It wants to tighten the regulations relating to the declared objectives of the IPO, with a cap on the raising of funds for acquisition purposes and the control of funds raised for general corporate purposes.
